of the numerous roads or trails with either camera or gun
and being awed at the sites and sounds of nature from the
surrounding area.
With an average winter snowfall of 9.2
ft. Virginiatown is the Ultimate playground for winter
activities. Imagine yourself riding on an well groomed "A"
trail with all the scenery and Virgin Snow around. (while
most communities restrict you to the snowmobile trail this
is not a requirement in the Virginiatown area.) If you Ski:
Raven Ski Hill located 3 km from the town and it boasts the
highest elevation in Northeastern Ontario.

The township has just declared some Lake Front and Wilderness
properties coming up for sale.These properties provide
excellent fishing opportunities and you can fish for walleye,
bass, lake trout, perch, brook trout and northern pike. One of
these properties on Larder Lake has ~1/2 mile of excellent shore
line with large flat areas for at least five or six good sized
cottage lots.
The Wilderness properties comprise of a few acres to possibly
100's of acres by combining several adjoining properties. The area
is an excellent area for partridge, rabbit, moose and black bear.
Non-residents should note that thecurrent hunting
regulations for non-resident property owners allows you to hunt
black bearon your property without having to use a guide
